Essay Series on a Madisonian Constitution

As Constitution Day approaches, I thought I would post a link to a series of essays the Constitution Center posted in 2017. The series features essays on how we have drifted away from Madison’s vision of government under the Constitution. The series explores the challenges modern government poses to the Madisonian Constitution including the rise of the two-party system, the expansion of the presidency, and the role Republicanism plays in our government structure. The essays are long so in the coming days, I will plan to post excerpts useable for classroom instruction. Before then, take a look at the essays. They are intriguing for sure.
